Glass Buttes Summer Class
Dates: June 23 - 27
Class goal: To provide individual instruction to students at any level from beginner to advanced. Over the five days, students will learn techniques in: quarrying, spalling of large and small materials, percussion--(preforming, thinning), working rock slabs, pressure flaking, and notching.
Cost: $450 for five days of instruction and all meals.
Location: We will be camping at Glass Buttes in Central Oregon. The camping conditions are primitive. There are no facilities other than portable toilets and solar showers. There will be large water tanks, kept filled from a nearby well.
Deposit: To reserve your spot in a workshop, please send a $100.00 deposit, with your name, address, and phone number.
